Each day, nearly half of all Facebook users log into their accounts. That’s 250 million people logging into Facebook daily! Every day there are about 55 million status updates made on Facebook.

How Much Time Do People Spend on Facebook?
The average user spends over 700 minutes (11.7 hours) on Facebook each month. Additionally, the average user creates 90 pieces of content each month

How Many Status Updates Are Made Each Day?
Fifty percent of users log in daily and 35 million of these users post approximately 55 million (total) status updates each day.
The average user has 130 friends — this is the same average friend count as was seen in 2011. In other words, the number of average friends per user has not increased over the past two years, however, the number of pages and groups people are joining has increased. That’s great news for business owners!.

Apps, Groups, Fans, And Pages, Oh My!
Facebook platform statistics report that:
*.More than 1 million developers from 180+ countries are involved with Facebook;
*.There are more than 550,000 applications (“apps”) available that work with the Facebook platform;
*.The average users is connected to 80 community pages, groups, and events (in addition to having an average of 130 friends.)
*.Globally, the top five verified pages with the most fans are
1) Facebook For Every Phone (313 million fans);
2) Facebook (95 million fans);
3) Rihanna(78.5 million fans);
4) YouTube (76.5 million fans); and
5) Eminem(76.4 million fans.)

What Countries Are Using Facebook The Most?
The United States holds the largest membership, with 111,212,840 users.
The United Kingdom is in second place (although still far behind total members when compared to the U.S.) with 23,449,100 users. However, when comparing overall population to the number of Facebook users, the United Kingdom has more users per person (2.47) than does the United States (2.78).

Men vs. Women
In Brazil and the United States, there are slightly more women using FB than there are men, however, the U.S. gender gap is not huge. In India, however, females only account for approximately 25% of Facebook users and men for 75%. Indonesia and Mexico have slightly more male Facebook account holders than women.
